Am I having internal hull failure?

I've had a 190 for about 4 years. I don't know the name of the part but there are two long grey panels on the deck that are screwed down . On the port side panel, where the panel ends just before you step up to the bow, I've noticed some 'softness'. When running in rough water, that area pushes up with the wave, the right side doesn't do that. If I step on that spot, it is softer than the other side. It seems like I have some support failure there.. It has been like that for months with no change, and I guess I need to complain, but there are no leaks. Has anyone had this problem? Would a structual internal break be covered under warrenty with no breach of the hull?

I have the same thing happening on my 2002 190 bay. It hasn't caused any problems yet. LKet me know if you find an answer or solution.
