do I having internal hull damage?

I've had a 190 for about 4 years. I don't know the name of the part but there are two long grey panels on the deck that are screwed down . On the port side panel, where the panel ends just before you step up to the bow, I've noticed some 'softness'. When running in rough water, that area pushes up with the wave, the right side doesn't do that. If I step on that spot, it is softer than the other side. It seems like I have some support failure there.. It has been like that for months with no change, and I guess I need to complain, but there are no leaks. Has anyone had this problem? Would a structual internal break be covered under warrenty with no breach of the hull?

I have a 2002 and that area seems to be more hollow than the rest of the hull. If you percuss the hull in the same area, you may also find that it may sound more hollow there as well. I have never had a problem with the "floor" there other than what you have experienced but I did get a crack in the hull outside, inline with that. Factory warranty fixed. I believe Triumph has fess'd up to some structural imperfect areas and hull crack problems in some 2002's. Does anyone think they have a perfect 2002? Do you have hull concavities in this same area (in line with the walk way in front of the baitwell)? Thank goodness for the lifetime warranty, any area not supported by the close cell foam is weak and cannot stand up to the old baseball bat test as seen in the ads. Remimber, most cracks are a pretty simple and fast fix.....I think adding foam to support the area is a reasonable suggestion to firm up the plastic...then it would pass that baseball bat test!
