live well/washdown

has any body tried to connect a washdown hose to the livewell outlet ? looks like all i need is a threaded adaptor and screw it into the plastic threaded outlet.

I keep a self coiling hose on my 195cc that I can conect directly to the fitting inside the bait tank. The hose will reach around the whole boat, it really doesn't have much pressure or volume but it gets the job done while out on the water.

Mine has a typical garden hose fitting on it, sorry. You might try a good plumbing supply house.

washdown

I was actually thinking of tieing into the hose before the baitwell and then you just close the baitwell spout to use the washdown. Waiting to hear how your's works.

hmm , that would be an easy way, plus you could store the hose in the round compartment. but its real dirty in there..... or you could a harder way would be to change out the outlet with a quick release....but then you might get into drilling a new hole using elasomeric etc.........hmmmmmmmmm

I mounted a wash down hose connection in the back of my 17cc and put a tee in the line at the livewell pump. Mounted a shut off value that could be reached under back storage and ran line from shut off value to the back of the hose connection. I use it to connect to the bottom of my removable bait tank to run freashwater in and out an overflow tube out the back of the boat. I also use a small hose off of it to wash blood off the deck. The bait tank works great but not much pressure for a washdown, but it will remove blood and wet mud.
