jeadkins,
can't go wrong upgrading to the 190. I got the Logic 186 (same boat - just older) with a 115 yamahammer 4 stroke. run out smooth and quite. the only problem with the 4-stoke on the older boats, is that when you take off, the side sculpers drop below the water line and will allow water to come in. as soon as you plane off, out the water goes. planning on doing the modification installing the valves that are shown in the mod section. i also, installed the 'Bob's Marine' planner on the motor. it has made a big difference in getting on plane and a side benefit, very little water coming in the side sculppers. Course, with the newer 190, the side scupplers are now gone. unk |

So Jesse,
You like that BMS cavatation plate? thought you would... Yep, mine works great with that heavy 150 VTEC on the stern for sure. But yes, go with the 190 and unlike most here, I went from a 210 down to a 190...Enjoy!

Look at this post: http://www.triumphowners.org/forums/...read.php?t=596 Also look at thread #6 and consider upgrading to a Suzuki DF140. It gets the same milage as the Yammi 115 4S.

puttershark,
Yep, I do like that plate. I am usually hesitant to do some things like that, but it was simple to install. Heck, it was not that expensive. They shipped the wrong one to start withabd were very gracious about fixing the problem. Put it on, went to the lake. could not believe the difference in getting on plane. thanks for the link. unk |
