Foldable T-Top

Hi all! Good luck with this website. On one of the other sites someone had a foldable t-top for a 2002 190, I am looking for info and pictures. Any help would be great! This is my second Triumph, I had a 17, I think the boats are great. Any modifications on the 190 would be terrific to see. 8)

If you have a t top that will fold made, don't forget, there are brackets that are inserted into the hull that holds the top in. I'm not sure that a dealer can get them from the factory without buying a t top assy.

Welcome to the site h2ocoach. Several 190 modifications have been listed by 190steve, me and others in the Gallery section. Don’t be bashful; ask as many questions as necessary. That is what this site is for.
JR
Hey Dick, got any pictures of these brackets and where they fit?

The brackets are installed under the floor. To put them in, you remove the long hatches on each side of the console [we call them banana hatches], drill 6" access holes and bolt the brackets in. The t-top is bolted through the floor and brackets. I'll try to get pictures.

i had a removable t-top that was affixed to the center console and didnt require any access holes to be cut.
if i can ever figure how to get my pictures to this site , i post this top.
it was made by taylor made but i have since seen the same top being sold at places like tractor supply and other ag centers for tractors..
not a fold down ,but lifts off and will lay down in front of console.

Hi GGC! I posted a "tutorial" (if you can call it that) yesterday morning on uploading pictures. I hope it helps. Here is the link:

http://www.triumphowners.org/Docs/image_upload.htm

BTW, if you're still having problems with the picture upload email me offline with a phone number and convenient time and I'll call you to step through it. I think it is very straightforward, but there may be something going on with your connection or server, ya never know.

I think we found the gentleman with the t-top, this top is great it mounts to the console.I am looking for a contact number, and as always the pictures would be great. You guys wait to see this top it is great!! I am also looking to put a bow dodger on my 190 any ideas? By the way, I have the info on the top that it is made by Taylor but, I know it is retro fitted by a smaller company. Keep up the great work. Thank you

hi coach
i finally figured how to post pictures and i thought i would let you know it was me that had the removable t-top. i didnt post all the pics i took but put a couple on here just to give you guys an idea of how it looked and how it was affixed to the boat. it was a very economical alternative to the factory tops and i had lights, antennas and curtains on it and it did the job.
any questions just fire away. i do think the current Taylor Made model is different from the one i got back in '01 but the ag center tops are the same as mine

Hey Logical-Al, would you have the number where I could call, for the top. I know it is made by Taylor, but it retrofitted by someone else. Thanks for the pics and your time.
