Prop Q Merc 115 four stroke

Wondering what the best setup is for a 19 bay with the 115 Merc four stroke any suggestions would be nice Two adult and a full take she WOT at 42 but a tad slow in the hole. I was interested to estimate if I can do better but I have reservations thinking this is as good as it gets.

I have to ask. What does it matter if you can not snap your neck from a dead stop, unless you are planning on competitive water skiing. If so you would not get this boat. It is designed first as a fishing boat but it will still get the average person up on ski's or pull a tub for fooling around with the family.

U ain't doin bad at wot 42. Ive got a 115 Yami 4s with 19" prop, at full down tilt the hole is pretty quick. need to get on the up trim almost imeddiatly but for a fishing boat it is pretty impressive when leaving the marina. My WOT is 41 on the gps. It cruzes nice at 4400 rpm and 30+ knph.

HAVE FUN!!!!!

Run over to West Marine and pick up one of these

http://www.propulse.se/english/index.html

And if afterwards you are still not happy after changing the pitch to match your hull and fuel load, you can always save it as a back up unit that will never rust. It is easy to repair (though rare) for I have thumped mine pretty hard on Oyster Beds and it has held up very well...

Enjoy!
