Lean Post vs. Cooler Seat (190)

Hey Dick,
This question might have been answered before on the old site but I can’t remember. I have a 30 gallon bait tank that does not fit in or on my 190 Bay. Does the factory leaning post use the same little bolts that are used to hold down the flip-flop cooler seat? If so that would make them interchangeable and I think my tank would fit underneath that lean post.
Thanks for your response.
JR

JR
Ive installed a lean post to fit my bait tank.
Check my pic in the Gallery (190).
The seat flips up for bait and the back-rest (removable) fits into the rod holders

Any suggestions on an aftermarket leaning post? Would want a back rest as well, maybe under seat small storage but no need for rod holders. Thinking this might be the 2005 mod project, well after the hull crack is drained and fixed.

I'm also looking to replace the cooler seat on my 170CC with an aftermarket leaning post. Most I've seen in catalogs etc. are wider than I'd like.

We have not put the aftermarket leaning post in any 190's. We have new factory posts with rocket launchers and backrest for $780. [only 2 at that price] You will have holes to plug where the cooler seat was.
