Fuel Water Separator Location

On the 190, where do you guys install the fuel water separator? My guess would be to put it under the starboard/stern jump seat. That's where my motor electronics, ignition and fuel line are routed.

I installed mine under the starboard jump seat and mounted it to back (stern) wall of that compartment. It seems to work fine.

Mine is in the same place as Triumph Dave's, I just wish the dealer had installed it a little higher so I could see (much less) drain the bowl eaiser. I though have never had to prime my fuel line to start the engine, so I bet I don't inspect it as much as I really should.

Note to self: Check the Fuel/Water seperator before getting underway again! Ha-Ha...

Tight Lines!
Dave

We put fuel filters in the st'bd. reat hatch, on the backsplash side, just foreward of the hole that all the cables and fuel lines go thru. We use that spot since some boats have a oil tank that goes in that area also. We mount them as high as possible so they can be checked or replaced easily.
