These are near the stern about 2 feet from the stern, and both on port and starboard sides, they are not the fish box holes in the bow boxes. Notice they are bronze/brass in color, remember those plugs are black plastic. Thanks for the reply.

According to Joe at Triumph this is some sort of T screw that is covered over during the building process. Also it does not have a direct access to the foam internally. I have reported this, and they state it is not an issue.

Fish box plugs
So, let me get this straight. There are plugs that fit in the fishbox drain holes at the hull? I noticed that the holes at the bottom of the fish boxes, inside, are threaded. My boat didn't come with any plugs. I took two of those yellow pratice golf balls and carved them into a funnel shape and 'screwed' them into the bottom of the fishboxes. No leaks so far.
I've been storing my anchors in the right one and now there are rust stains in the bottom. I love this site 'cause I learn something new every time I come on here! |

FYI on fish box drains
Triumph is now making and installing a shelf that fits in each fish box for the 190. It stands about 8 inches up from the bottom. You can (and probably should) leave the plugs out so water can come and go. This shelf will keep your stuff up out of the water. A much improved idea. They are putting them in the new boats, but will fit nicely in the older models. I have the 'o4 and they work fine and easy to drop in. Contact your dealer or Triumph and I'm sure they can get you a pair. Don
