101 Rip Tide 3X installed
Well another mod complete was the installation of the trolling motor and this proved to have several obstacles that had to be analyzed and remedied before fruition. The beef up plate was quite fun as I made it out of 3/16 aluminum the template was OK but getting the sealant and all the holes to line up was quite daunting. The big motor is heavy and I wanted to ensure zero movement with which I achieved with the heavy plate. The motor sits on a quick release mounting bracket which only added to the fun. Wiring and the battery installation is in another thread, I hope the pictures answer any questions.
