Storage Box Gaskets
Hi folks,
I'm sure this topic has been covered, but could not find it. Since I'm new both to the site and to the boat, maybe you will forgive my ignorance. Did the 2002 190 come with storage box gaskets? The person I bought the boat from was using pickup truck camper foam gaskets, 1 1/2 inches wide purchased in rolls from Lowes or Home Depot. Seems to work okay, although I did get water in both bow storage boxes and forward battery box on last washdown. Guess I'll just have to be a bit more careful. Has anyone come up with a better idea? If the trailer jack is all the way up and my bow is elevated, I don't get water in my fwd fish boxes on wash-down or when it rains.
