Trolling motor with bow rail?
Has anyone come up with a way to use a bow mounted trolling motor of some type and still have a bow rail? I would like to get some kind of a motor that the angler sitting in the bow seat can control, but we really like the bow rail for non-fishing activities. Any thoughts?
Thanks |

Ive got a minnkota 74 AP mouted on the bow and a custom bow rail at 28". The high bow rail allows clearance for the troll motor and the ability to fish standing at the edge of the bow w/o falling off the boat. Got the ideal from a friend w/ a 19' Parker, he likes to fish tight to the kelp and rocks of So. Calif. Use the factory mounting kit, it's worth the money. |
