Moving Up to 190Bay!

I am happy to say that after three seasons of use I will be moving up from my 170cc to a new 190Bay. This site has been a great resource for Triumph Boats (as was the old one on MSN) thanks to it's active members. This group originally convinced me to purchase the 170cc and now I hooked! I'm sorry to say I haven't had a great deal of time post to the board - even though I read it regularly. I look forward to participating on the 190 forum very soon . BTW, I also listed my boat on the classifieds if anyone is looking for one quick - otherwise it will be traded in at the dealers. Thanks for everyone's help and regular input - especially to those who posted the mods!

-Kevin

Congrats Kevin!

What set up did you get with it? (Power, bimini, t-top?) I hope you have a great time with it!

Thanks to all!

I posted a picture in the member galleries.
It is a picture I took from the dealer lot.
The boat has the the Factory T-Top, Bowrail and a 115HP Yamaha.

Thanks,
Kevin

Boat looks good! Is that an EZ-Loader? If so, see about getting that V-Bunk installed along with adjustments to the wench stand.

Yes it is an EZ-Loader.

I searched the forums for the topic and see there is a
potential recall on the trailer for the v-bunks. (This is a
2004 model left-over.)

Whats up with the recall and how do the v-bunks and
winch adjustments help? If it is applicable I would like
to make sure my dealer does it before I get it.

I saw the front hull deflection and it seemed like it was
on all the 190Bays - dealer said it was normal. I figured
if it was a problem that Triumph would honor the lifetime
warranty anyway - so I wasn't worried that much about
it! I may have a pic of the deflection in my lot pics.

Thanks for the heads-up!

Go here for the trailer information.

Also go to my gallery for pictures of the winch. I have a PDF of the recall letter if you need it.

JR's the man on this issue and has done the mod - I haven't. But if it was me, I'd want the dealer to make the adjustments to the wench stand and install the V-bunk prior to picking up the rig.

Thanks again for all the info.

I just finished up the paperwork and payments to make the 190 purchase official. It also meant I had to say goodbye to my 170cc .

Now I just have to wait until spring to get the 190 since the dealer is storing it for me over the winter. I hope to get a couple more pictures with my kids on it before they shrink wrap it. Then I'll have something to look at all winter.

BTW, I mentioned the trailer recall and the dealer said they will try to get that taken care of over the winter.

See ya all on the 190 board.
