kicker motor mount

I will be picking up my 191wt in about a week and i am doing some homework.
I already have a 9.9 johnson 4s ,15'shaft and want to use it as a kicker.
I have been looking online at different mounts and wanted some input.

Any particular brand better for the Triumphs and I guess that the 15" shaft will work?

I wont be using the kicker much, mostly just a back up for saltwater and will take it off for lake fishing,I don't do much trolling.

Butch, you will want to research the details of the mounting with your dealer and possibly the factory before settling on a type of mount. Kicker mounts are not as simple on a roplene hull as glass or aluminum.

I have made some posts and some photos of my 210CC kicker mount. It will give you an idea of the process. Your transom is different so it will take some more engineering to make it work.

Good Luck, Codfish

We had our dealer mount the kicker on our 215 because he said that they had to custom make a mount. I think you should talk to your dealer before deciding on anything.
