195 bow mount trolling motor

Hello Triumph owners,

I'm new to the board, stumbled across it doing research on the 195cc. Looks like a great site with alot of good info being shared. I was wondering if anyone has installed a bow mount trolling motor on their 195cc. If so I would like to know any details of the setup you chose; motor brand+model, mounting, battery and charge location you chose. I am seriously considering purchasing a 195 and want a trolling motor. I can't find anyone who has installed one, not even the dealers in the area. I was thinking installing one of the minkotta auto pilot motors on because you don't have to cut the bow rail. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks,
Dan

bow mounted motor

I mounted the Minn Kota auto pilot on my 191 FS. Used the quick release adapter plate too which I highly recommend. You'll need a 24 volt set up. So I installed two batteries in the battery box. the 191 FS comes pre wired to the bow. Also, I highly recommend the remote control which you can wear on your wrist instead of the foot controls.
