New Owner of a 195 CC

I just purchased a new, 2006 leftover, from Merritt Marine today. Its got 135 HP Honda with 4 blade SS prop on it. Also has a Bimini top, front seat filler and cushion, removeable jump seats, and swim platform. Should get it on about May 12th, can't wait. We're going to use it here in NE Ohio on Lake Erie some of the rivers and inland lakes. They are also going to install a Lowrance 334c GPS/fishfinder combo and an ICOM VHF radio on it. Although I havn't posted on here before, I have been reading posts and learning all I can about these great boats since I first saw one at the Cleveland boat show this winter. Thanks to everyone that posts here, the information has been a huge help in the decision to buy.

I got one this year too and it has been great. The ride really is softer than on the glass boats. I thought that was all bs until I took it out in the chop. Have fun!

I bought a 195CC with a Honda 90 this spring. Been out on the Chesapeake Bay a few times, caught some stripers, and have nothing but great things to say about the boat! I have the Lowrance 522 combo unit and it's been great.
Bought at Hooked on the Bay in North East, MD. They are awesome to deal with. Have fun man!

WJZINK,
Thats good to hear, I'm sure we will enjoy it. How do you like the Honda? What kind of top end do you get from your boat?

I'm still under the 20 hour mark so I haven't pushed it, but we we're cruising comfortably at 30mph (GPS land speed) at about 5,000 rpms this weekend on flat seas. The dealer sold it with a different prop than Honda supplies and took us on a sea trial to test it out. I am very pleased. My buddy and I tend not to run too far and do a lot of drift fishing for flounder during the summer months, so I didn't opt for the bigger Honda. We also run to flocks of birds when we see them. I think this motor will suit our needs really well.
