system check
Just got a 191f/s 2004 with a 140 four stroke suzuki and the tach doesn't read above 2,000 rpm. I figure i need a new tach but can't find one to exact match the current gauge since I don't want to have a mismatch. Has anyone had a simular problem either replacing a matching gauge or know what is wrong with the one I have. Thanks for the help.

searay,
Look up Faria instruments.com. Contact them. They may replace it under warranty. It will match exactly. Make sure you set the dial on the back for your particular engine. I had a problem with mine, sent it to them, and had a replacement within 5 days. Great company to deal with. Good luck. John D. |
