Jack Plates Are Doable But ,call Your Dealer To Verify That They DO Not Void The Warranty If Installed. Back In '01 I Was Told They Voided The Warranty And Not To Put Them On.

ILLOGICAL is correct. I contacted the factory last summer about putting one on my 2004 190DC. They said it is not recommended to use one on any of their boats and will void the factory lifetime warranty if used. Their explanation was something to do with the weight being set back farther and torque on the transom. I didn’t completely understand it because the motor I had at the time weighed 380lbs and the transom max is 510lbs on my 190DC, but hey it’s their call and I will take the Lifetime Warranty over a jack plate any day.
