191 FS Flexibility
Bought the 191FS a few months back and had the chance to use it for the first serious fishing. Was on Lake Oconee, GA, and was out most of the day for three days. The versatile storage compartments were great, and the flip over casting platform in the back was great. Overall, a great boat for fishing, while still being able to cruise and pull skiers. Very pleased with the purchase.
I've done a few modifications to it, including putting on Smart Tabs. It slows the boat by a few MPH, but creates a lot of stability. With an ETEC 175, WOT speed is about 47-48 MPH on GPS. Plenty fast enough for me in an 18'6" boat. Only caught one fish, but it was an 8 lb large mouth bass. |
