well for a little update....the right fish box was the final problem. there is a ball joint in there somewhere leading to the back drain hole, and the gasket around the joint had failed causing water to rush from the back drain holes right up to where the bad gasket was and into the bilge area. my dealer pulled out the bad gasket and replaced it with some goop supplied by triumph. when my son and i went to pick up the boat, my dealer had just got in 2 check valves for both of the fish box drain holes in the back of the boat. the shipment arrived when we got to the dealer, so we did the fix ourself which took about an hour and a half, but the problem seems to be fixed. its kind of surprising how the boat did not come with check valves in the first place for the 2 front fish boxes...

Roger,
I am assuming they sent them to my dealer free of charge. My dealer just got them in when we arrived so thats why we did it ourselves. I'll try to scan the instruction sheet soon for ya to see, but its kind of light colored to begin with. The valves are installed through the back panels where the 2 aft jump seats sit (on that wall). There are two access hatches there (one on each side port and starboard), but you have to take off the entire panel on each side to gain complete access to the drain hoses. |

Gotcha, I think I will ask my dealer if they can supply them to me.
Thanks
