Trolling Motor For 191

Hi All,

Would a Minn-Kota Riptide 24 volt, 70 lb thrust with a 52 inch staft be ok?

Thumbs up Yes it would

I have a 2004 191SC with a Honda 130hp and I use a Minnkota Power Drive 12V, Auto Pilot, 55 lb thrust with a 54" shaft and it moves my boat very well.

If you're going to do any trolling, I strongly recommend the Auto Pilot.

I also recommend you get the mounting bracket.

The best price I've seen is at http://www.sports-nuts.com/site/index.pl. Tell Andy that Charlie sent you.

I just bought a 2005 191FS and outfitted it with a 82lb 24V Motor Guide Riptide Saltwater 50" shaft. It moves the boat along really well. I would suggest that you go with as much thrust as possible. The 82lb was the highest I could find in a 24V model.
