Today, I got my 190CC over 40 mph with my 130 going with the wind/tide at 4,500 rpm - 35 mph against the wind/tide. Had another 1,000+ rpm left before WOT. For me, that's fast enough in a bay boat.

Ask Dick in the Tech forum about the kicker, but I believe that it hasn't been done on the 190/191 boats. Plus, you'll likely be exceeding the transom weight limit of 500lbs. (unless the 04 has a higher limit).

Cinci From just looking at the Triump WEB site they say the max HP on a 190 is 150 510 lbs but the 191 is 175 and a max engine weight of 565.

I've always presumed that the 190 and 191's only had subtle differences based on their similar beam and length. I guess the differences are more than just subtle - you're right, the 191 transom ratings are different from the 190.

That is one incredible story about the truck and the Triumph and trailer. Could've used that one a few months ago when I got into an intellectual debate about Roplene vs. Glass vs. Aluminum.
