Fish box drains 210

I'm thanking about putting the drains in my fish boxes you all have been talking about but got a few questions. Do I need to worry about where I drill the holes and do the drains need to miss the bunks on the trailer.THANKS

Bobby g, if I may make a suggestion, post your question in the "Tech Talk" forum or e-mail Dick at Merritt Marine.

Before I brought the boat home, Merritt installed the thru hull bottom type drains. They really do make life a lot easier as they communicate directly thru the bottom of the boat instead of having fish parts in the bilge. We installed these drains in all four fish boxes and the rear port storage compartment. With storing the boat in the garage, we wanted to make sure nothing stayed inside the boat that would stink the place up.
