Taylor, Mine is an '04 210CC also. I too used the recommened measurements, which were 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 and just hit the stainless plate. I then posted that a 1/2" further to the right would be better. Sorry you missed that post. It is dated 2-23-05 and is named Inner/Outer Hull Drain. The good part is my plug still works just fine. I used the black plastic one with the red sealing ring on the screw out plug. The retention tabs on the plug hang up some but do not hamper the function of the plug. You may have to remove the retainer tabs but you will still have full thread contact to hold your plug in.
Glad to hear you only had a small amount of water come out. That is a good thing. Codfish |

now i know why randy and dick were hesitant when i insisted on having a logic forum for mods. and upgrades. if you guys had read the thread posted there on inner foam drains for the 210cc , you would have seen to go 2-1/2 right and 1-1/2 up. that measurement was taken from my boat that my dealer did the install on and it is a clear drill into the foam area. don't know if the "Logic" aspect of that forum kept you guys from reading it or not.
the logics have a unique set of design and mfg. issues ,but they are the aprox. same hulls and mods there are relative as to how the newer year models can be modified. 1-1/2 right has always been to close to the s.s. strap and i'm really sorry you got on it . that being said, the is still no reason the sea dog or even brass type drain fitting would not work. as stated by randy and myself on the logic forum , your dealer is the best person to do any of the mods. as for me , i have a Q2 non warranty hull so whatever i do doesnt come under factory scruntney as you guys with warranties. GGC
