outtahere,
48 mph with the 150 HPDI is pretty impressive, this is about what I get with my 200 HPDI, my boat is the 2001 210CC, my rpms are a bit lower however.
I'll have to do some more speed testing this spring!

boat currently has a 6 ft snowbank in front of it!

Yeah, thats with 2 people half a tank of gas bimini top down, bowdodger down. When the bimini is up it acts like a parachute. I still love the reaction we get when we pass some other boats that have more hp then us but can't go faster. Heck are old boat had a 200hp V8 and it only could get to 45mph. So we are very impressed by the performence of the 150 HPDI.

I have a Yamaha 200 OX66 with a susuki stainless steel 3 blade prop and 20 pitch. My main complaint is that the prop cavitates in tight turns and rough seas. I am looking at the 4 blade off shore prop.

I replaced my 13 3/4 diameter 19 pitch three blade prop with a 14 diameter 19 pitch. I have a Yamaha 200 HPDI. WOT is 5400 RPM and 50 MPH. This is best case scenario (smooth water, moderate load, and trim tabs correctly adjusted). I typically start out with the trim tabs fully extended, open the throttle all the way, and then adjust the trim tabs up until the engine RPM is optimal.

We run a 150 Yamaha with our 210cc Triumph.. Prop size: aluminum 18 x 14.5 4 blade = 40mph @ 56rpm (WOT) Top performance assumes one person in the boat, trimed out and on a day perfect.

I can't tell you which prop I have. I have a 2001 CC with a 200 Ox66 Saltwater Series. I have the painted stainless prop. Top speed is 49 mph @ 5700 RPM GPS. Interestingly, up until about the first year, top speed was 55 mph GPS @ 5700 RPM. No T-Top, no trim tabs. I hit a soft muddy bottom, with no apparent damage to lower unit or prop. I have replaced the prop since then, and still end up around 49. I'll do some digging to see which prop it is... i do know its a Yamaha prop, and that those where the best numbers that the Yamaha application engineers (yeah the guys who do the performance bulletins) could get out of it.

I have a 2002 210 with a 200 ox66, originally had a 14 X 21 pitch and saw 54 mph @ 5500 rpm.
That is with t-top tabs 1/2 tank of fuel and 2 fat fisherman. But after some age and added weight i.e water in foam and hull warping ( very slight, old hull style) the prop started to break loose and top end dropped to 41mph @ 4800 rpm.
I changed props to a Mercury offshore series 14 1/4 X 19 pitch 4 blade. What a difference!!!!
Response is much better from top to bottom of the rpm range. I am now seeing 5600 rpm WOT top end is 49 mph and fuel burn is better @ cruise.
I tried many props ( thanks Murphy's Props ) the 4 blade is by far the best for this boat.
