I haven't had a chance to get by to see it in person yet but I think there is a problem with the depth of the console vs. the depth of the electronics. Like I said, I'll have to get the boat and get on the water with it to see how it works. Thanks for helping me think through this though

You know me my friend, always looking for ways to improve and streamline the system, and that is why I get so little sleep! Ha-Ha...

Hi Mark. Yes it is the 2006 Yamaha 150 4-stroke. I just ordered the Yamaha digital fuel management and tach gauges for to top off all the electronics. I really like the cream color with black trim. I heard a rumor that Triumph might be doing away with the cream color Chaos version and coming up with a white limited edition boat. We should know by the Mackfest what the 2007 lineup will look like.

What is the approximate cost of the Yamaha digital guages?

Over $1000! I have to admit I hesitated on that purchase but figured I would be glad I got them in the long run. I couldn't find them online but ordered them from Merritt Marine. Dick at Merritt would be happy to get you a quote I'm sure.

Thanks Randy.

Yeah, I will ask him this week as I need to pick up my boat from there.

Thumbs up Updated photos

I'm living vicariously now through Chad Merritt's photos until I can get to Merritt Marine and settle up on the boat. I love the layout of the electronics and the final look of the boat. I also purchased Tite-lok tracks for my downriggers and had those installed by Chad as well. He does nice work! Thanks Chad!

Nice to see some quality work!

Not fair, not fair, not fair. I'm still waiting for my boat! It's due in about three weeks. If you think YOU'RE living vicariously, what about me!!!!

Very nice quality work. I hope I'm patient enough to take the time to do the same with mine.
