Sanded bottom

I have an '03 210 and I recently noticed that the bottom of the boat from the transom forward about 18-24 inches the bottom has been what appears to be sanded with a course grit disc sander all the the way across the bottom from one side to the other. Do any of ya'll have this on your boat or do any of ya'll know what it could mean. When I bought the boat the dealer assured me that the boat was not a "second". It looks as though some repair might have made. The boat was new when I bought it. Any info would be appreciated. Geaux Tigers!

Just a question .....have you beached her yet?? if so. That could be where it is from.
I beach mine when I am at the lake, it has a lot of decomposed granit...really hard on the hull. So I have scraches that look like that.

Genelie..... Its Never Been Beached. It Is Not A Random Pattern Across The Bottom. It Is Quite Clear That These Marks Were Made With A Disk Sander. If It Was The Result From Beaching The Pattern Would Be More Random And Asymetrical.

LSU,
Any chance you could have hit something in the water while on plane? If you're describing a pattern that looks like an orbital sander patterm, I doubt that would be it though.

Fishin' ...... These marks are clearly man made and very consistant. scoring made by hitting something would have been much more random. Thanks for the thought. Geaux Tigers!
