Considering a 215cc

Well, I have already outgrown my 170cc and am looking to go with a 21ft center console. I do love my Triumph and am very interested in the 215cc.

What range are most of you getting with the 215? The tank seems slightly small compared to most other boats this size.

Tygh,

I have an '04 210 w/140 Suzuki 4S, 17P prop. I routinely get 3+ mpg. That means easy 150 mile days with the obligatory 30% reserve. Hope that helps.

My Suzuki 175 has averaged 4mpg over the first 150 hours. Thats a mix of idling, cruising, fast crusing, etc. I also run the Lowrance Fuel Management System, a $49 dollar option on their GPS/Sonar units. Since I operate in the Sacramento/San Joaquin delta, fuel pumps are never more than 5 miles away. Even so, I maintain a 15 gallon reserve.

Soooooo, 55 gallons times 4 mpg equals 220 miles.

Another thing, I've never filled the tank in the U.S. but in Mexico, if the pumps were not set WAAAAYYYY off, I actually pumped a total of 85 gallons to fill the tank to the brim.
