I guess I am not used to it yet, only two trips so far. Boat raises bow way up and quickly settles down. Top speed on speedo is about 43 with two adults and fuul tank.
It cuts the water just before the console with motor trimmed out. With trim tabs all the way up when it hits a wave it wants to plow through with no lift on the bow which gets tiresome being thrown towords the console on everywave. No, I don't want to go sailing through the air, and if this is what it is does and is OK then Cool. I have never had a boat do that they usually want to go up and over but yes with a little bounce. I don't get wet or water over the bow but almost to the rubber on the side. I love the boat and I guess I am just looking for something wrong when there is nothing to be concerned about.

Dank,
I installed the Bennett M120s on my Logic 210 2 years ago. they definitely come in handy for certain conditions and I am happy I made the addition. However they still are not the crystal ball I was hoping for and in those choppy nasty conditions the hull still slams, just have to hope you don't encounter those too often. I understand your concerns exactly and I think it just has to do with the roplene construction(it is lighter than glass and does flex, which in my opinion makes it rough especially at the console area where I stand), this is my only compaint with these boats. in those rough conditions I feel the console shake and it is annoying to say the least. I also head offshore often, though not 40 miles, usually keep it to 20 as that all that is needed usually where I go.

the tabs do help alot to a certain point and I think you will be happy! I installe myself with a friend, it took a few hours. I would recommend giving Dick at Merritt Marine a call first, he'll give you a few pointers!

I have the 9x18's on my 215. No problems. Huge amount of control.

In slightly rough water she does not really lift her bow when hitting a wave but plows through it. All this discussion about being light seems to not apply to my boat she rides slightly heavy and stable. It was with a full fuel tank and I have three batteries in the center console. My power is a Yamaha 150 2-stroke. Any comments or ideas??
Popcone, you need to check or have your boat checked for water in-trusion. If you have water in-trusion you need to drain the water, find where it is coming from and fix it. Additional weight from water will make your boat do what you described.
If your boat is dry then your hull may have to much hook in it. To much hook will make your boat perform just as you described. To much hook will do the same as flaps on a airplane, slow it down and keep the nose down.
I have worked on Triumps with to much hook in the hull. 1- 04 Chaos, 1- 02 210, two 190 Bays and a 06 191 Fish & Ski. The hook can be ground off and make a big differance in the boats performance. This needs to be done by someone that knows what they are doing and a lot of water testing must be done. To much hook can be removed and then the boat will porpoise all the time then some hook will need to be welded back on.
One other thing, you did not say what RPM you are at WOT.

I guy's!

I 'am new here and i experience the same bow probleme. I own a 2002 210cc with a 200 honda. And at top speed on calme fresh water at 53 mph 5800rpm with a 4 blade prop and 1/2 tank i can't trim more than 1/2 of motor trim travel. If i go further i heard cavitation and the bow stop raising, and the hull still touching water juste in front of console. I have already grind off the little duck tail shappe of the hull near the transom it's almost straight now but i don't want to go too far . I don't know how thick is the material in this area.Is this kind of duck tail you guy's call hook?? How can i verify if a get some water in the inner hull?

AS I remember from warmer weather before the tach took soom time off it ran about 4700-5000 around 43 mph indicated stiil getting used to the electronics so don't have a GPS speed.
