I own a 2002 210 and fish the mouth of Ches. bay often. This boat will handle much more than you or I can take. 2 to 3 foot chop is no problem if you push the boat on top sometimes faster is a much better ride. I don't recommend trying this but I once was caught out in 6 to 8 footers the top of the waves were over the t-top when I was down in the trough, definitely got wet that night but the boat did fine. I strongly suggest trim tabs for any bay boat. Take a test ride. Good luck and tight lines.

I appreciate your comments. It seems 215 is well designed for the size. I am going to make an arrangement for the sea trial soon.

Thanks again.

all i have to add is the faster you run a 215 the better it bites into the waves and runs--- ive run wide open in 2-3 footers and never got a drop in the boat..the only way you get wet is by running slower than the wind is blowing!!!!

seriously, i test rode for 2 years on every model there was under 23 ft prior to buying my triumph and i can remain seated in my captain's chair in rougher water than holding on for dear life , having my shorts fall to my knees from the pounding, and literally needing help getting out of those kidney busting glass test boats.

I'm with you GGC. Wetness in an open boat is a result of having to run slower that the spray is being blown back at you. Either you slow down or put up a spray guard. Or if you can handle the pounding, speed up.

What I like about my 210 is the flex or softness of the boat when conditions cause pounding. I used to get just as wet in a 24' Sea Ray CC Laguna as I do now in the 210. I am getting older and not as happy when the pounding starts so I put up a spray guard and keep the speed slow when conditions warrant that.

If you are looking for a boat in this length range, you will do yourself proud with a Triumph. For all the reasons Triumph owners have stated in the past. Value and ease of maintenance are the two I always come back to.
