T-Top Boat Cover for 210CC

Hello Everyone,

I am a new 210CC owner. I bought a 2005 with a Yamaha 150 4-stroke.

I am really anxious to get her out on the Chesapeake for the March rock fish (striper) season.

To the point, I have found it hard to find a fitted boat cover.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

FYI - I have found one place (www.ttopcovers.com) that can make one for me for less than $900...the problem is that they are located in Charleston, S.C. and I am in Richmond, VA. They would need the boat for a week to create a template that they could mass produce just for the 210CC. I don't think that I will have a chance to get down their until much later in the year.

Congrats on your new boat. I ordered my cover from covers inc.com fits great and they can ship them out in only a few days. Did you buy from Adams and Durvin? thats where I got mine last year. Rivercat

Hey rivercat,

Yep...I bought mine from Adams & Durvin during the Boat Show at the Richmond Convention Centre.

I found a site at www.coversinc.net...is this the one?

Was it pricey?

Thanks,

Macallan

Tractor Supply: 30'x40' green tarp. It's overkill, but it does a really nice job for under $100.00. It's all I need to keep the rain and pinestraw from getting in the boat.

210 Cover

I purchased mine from covers inc, the have all of the templates. If you want to see one, I have posted mine on the 210 photo galley on a boat lift. I am getting ready to have covers inc, sew a side access door to make it easier to get in while it is on the lift. One note of caution, they do not send installation instructions.

I purchased mine from Covers, Inc. and was very pleased with their service. I have a 210CC w/ T-top and wanted a boat cover to use when trailering. They weren't real keen on this idea, but worked with me and made some suggestions which I followed.

After the first trip, some 3,000 miles total, I called them and asked if some modifications could be done. The modified the cover at no cost to me except shipping it to them. While it was a little pricey to start with, it was well worth the cost.

I did get a little frustrated when I got he cover because their were no directions. A quick phone call and they emailed some pics that took me through the process of installing it.

Good people and a good product, i don't think you can go wrong with them.

Someone asked about the price. I was curious, too, so I called Covers Inc. They said it was about $800 for the cheaper-fabric/plastic cover they had. The Sunbrella and some other kind were each around $1,100. This is for a 210 with t-top.

That's a lot of money for a boat that should only be covered 3 months out of the year. I can see investing if it is kept at a marina full time, but not the driveway. I feel I accomplished the main goal of keeping my boat clean and dry for under $100. I also found an indoor boat storage facility that's about $40/month to keep your boat indoors. At three months/year, I could keep it there for 9 years for the cost of that cover!

Parachutes, Parachutes. The best going for the bucks. $35/50 bucks at Army surplus stores and generally last 2/3 years.
