i went with lencos from river marine sales and i have no regrets i preferred to run the power wires on the surface of the transom rather than drilling holes in the rear seat boxes as has to be done with bennetts better yet git those low profile ones i saw posted earlier!!

Good morning ksr5,
I'm Thomas and I work for Bennett Marine in the Client Service Department. Installation of trim tabs on your vessel is a very good choice to further inprove your vessel's operating range and confort! A set of 18 x 9's would be a very good choice for your installation, since we are dealing with a 21' vessel and 150 hp outboard. The part number for this kit would 189E, which any of your local marine dealers, catalog &/or Internet retailers can supply to you using this part number. Please use the part number to place your order and shop around for your best deal too! As for the hydraulic line issue; we offer External Line Conversion kits that we can mail to you at No Charge, which allow you to convert our standard through hull actuators to external line type. It is a very easy conversion, since all you have to do is follow the supplied installation instructions and replace the Upper Hinges of the actuators (triangle bases that attach to your transom) with the new ones that have a brass 90 degree elbow installed on the front face of the Upper Hinge. This allows you to route the hydraulic lines down to the actuators from above the water line to complete the installation. If you are interested in the External Line Conversion kit, please email me (trimtabs@earthlink.net) with your mailing address and I will see they leave here by tomorrow at the latest! If you have anymore questions, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, MJ Thomas Client Services Bennett Marine, Inc. 954-427-1400 Last edited by Tabman II; 01-04-2007 at 09:00 AM. i also want to thank you as well for all your past and i'm sure continued support of our site. i just want you to know i have nothing personally against bennetts and i am pleased to learn that you now offer an external routing method of the lines. i will cease to use the argument of using lencos now that you offer this option --i just never liked having the lines running through the boxes and now that argument is mute!!! once again thanks for your continued support of the site and wonderful customer service of bennett products to our owners regards berto
