Triumph 215 Caught Offshore Between 2 Major Storms

Triumph Boats 215 CC Caught Offshore Between 2 Storms

We were wreck fishing 12 plus miles off shore out side of Ocean City MD in our 215 CC NEW Triumph Boat and got caught ...between two storms. Winds gusting over 35 and waves exceeding 6 feet. Thanks to out Triumph Boat and some good piloting by Captain Glen we got back safely. That was the good news. The bad news is we did not catch any fish.

Just a reminder that Triumph dealers are welcome on this site and we encourage their participation. However our policy is that dealers let us know when they join so we can assign a 'Triumph Dealer' title to them. If you are a boat dealer please send me a Private Message on this board or an email and let me know your username so I can assign your Triumph Dealer title.

Also, it is okay to add a link to a dealer's website in our Links section but if a dealer wants to promote their website or dealership on Triumphowners.net they can contact us about purchasing a banner ad. This site is a service to Triumph Boat owners and advertising is not free. Registered members can also add a link to it in the Links section. I will create a new category for "Video Links".

Makes me wish I had a video camera with me when Andy and I went off shore at the MacFest this past Summer. We had 4 foot seas and I had a concern about being able to turn around and head back. The wave sets were to close for my Logic 186. At 2.5 miles out in the channel, there was a brief lull and that was the fastest I ever turned my steering wheel.
At least it wasn't raining and cold! It was a load of fun to see my boat handle such waves.
The next day I videoed the Whistling Bouy at 8.5 miles out the channel and a pod of dophins on the way back, with my digital camera.

Hey, i know capt Glen and he is a good guy. Glad to see him out enjoying what he loves to do. They are a hard working family. I take my 190 bay out only a few miles in the same area on calm days. Mostly around the inlet for flounder and striper.
Great Video lets see the 190 next time....lol

Capt. Glen, I enjoyed the Vidios provided. I have towed my 17 CC over 2000 miles, from Delaware to Florida 2 times and have bumped many times the hull and prop on cypress trees, coral reefs and oyster bars in our Citrus County flats and rivers. Appart from some minor scatching on the hull, the boat suffered no damage.

After badly dinging my prop I bought a Propulse Propeller from West Marine. I have replaced two of the blades to date and can recommend this product to anyone who boats in skinny water with rock hard bottoms.

Good luck with your Delaware Bay /Ocean

Bob

I love the sound of the motor in this video. What kind of engine is it?

Hello there everyone, FYI.

Hello there everyone, FYI. I did not know that there was a rule about getting a special name for dealers but it makes good sense so here is the info. for all to see. It is a great site and we wanted to share some fun.

TriumphStuntMan is my son Zack and Fishingmannnn is me Captain Glen and we own RT. 113 Boat Sales in Southern Delaware.

We realy love our boats and all seasion long you will find two or three in the water behind our home. In fact I still have my Dealer Demo 215 CC in the water and we were fishing New Years Eve and Tonight we are having Rock Fish for Dinner.

GDS.
