Where did you mount your on board charging system?

If you have an on-board batter charging system installed on your boat let us know which unit you purchased and where you installed it on your Triumph. Be sure to note which Triumph model you own. If you have photos of your installation that you can attach to your post that would be great.

I just purchased a new on-board 3-bank charging system with a Christmas gift card from Cabela's. I've got to figure out the best place to mount it that provides adequate ventilation. Any tips we can share will help us all.

I got a pro tournement 100 10 amp 2 bank charger. I mounted it on the front wall inside the cc. I ran the wires down to the batteries and the plug connection out to the under side of the dash where i mounted it in a water resistant housing. works well for me. Havent killed a battery since instaling it

I just installed a Cabela's Advanced Angler ProSport Chargers PROSPORT 8 two bank on the port side interior of my center console on my 170CC. I ran the cables to the batteries also in the CC. I drilled a two inch hole in the side where the plug comes out and installed a waterproof connector to cover it. Works great!! Update: Pictures uploaded.

Here's a shot of the charger inside the CC.

The middle picture shows where the plug comes out and through bolt location.

Bottom picture is a close up of the mounting bolts and plug cover.

RANDY --THE CHARGERS FIT NICELY CENTERED INSIDE THE CONSOLE IN FRONT OF THE MEGA

IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY YOU CAN SEE THE 4 SCREW HEADS OUTSIDE THE CONSOLE NEAR THE DECK JUST PORT OF CENTER

It Has Never Been An Issue Since There Are Plenty Of Areas For Heat To Get Out

I was very surprised that this unit produces very little heat. No worries there.

Good information guys. I installed an on board charger in my original 210 in the dry storage area under the center console but above the battery area. I ran the cables thru the Roplene insert via a cutout and attached a remote battery indicator that I mounted in the console. I also had a pro tournament external plug. I'll probably do the same this time but wanted to get some other approaches to look at first. I hope others will join in.
