I had the chance to purchase a 06 215 or an 07. I actually liked the 06 better for the reasons JB mentioned. I liked the bait tank lid bigger so you can get a net in when loading. I think the graphics look better on the 06.

I can't wait to see my new "07" it should be here in a couple of months. I don't really see much differance in the overall design and apearance other than the white rub rail and the logo. I think I might have heard the mega storage bin may be larger but not much of an issue for me, only a place to put more junk. Are the floor locker/hatches on the "06" gray? the "07" are white. I like the idea of disc brakes on the "07" trailer even though I don't trailer I leave it in all summer.

I have seen the 07 at the local dealer and it looks nice. I have not had the chance to go look inside of it though. I am completely happy with my 06 and it has served us well up here on the northcoast.

215 07 over 06
Triumph is offering some nice incentives for the 07, and aside from the graphics and livewell hatch, you get a lot of boat with candy over other CC makes / models (at a much lower price). I put a down payment on an 07 today, and plan to settle before end of January to take advantage of $2000 factory cash back, $400 discount on enclosure, and 3+3 (6 year) warranty on 150 4 stroke yamaha (at no cost). I am also benefiting from being in Delaware, so the money that others spend on taxes are going right into my electronics (please don't tell my wife!). I don't plan on trailering the boat much (local), I think the double axle sitting under the hull should do just fine. This will be my first new boat purchase, my other boats have been used and fiberglass. I am looking forward to working this boat to the bone, and don't care what it looks like, nor do I care what others in my boating circle say about it. I'll post pictures to the site once I take title to the boat.

2000 bucks? That's alot of cash, I only got $400 last season. Also the enclosure was the only option that I did not buy. If it was $400 cheaper it woulda bought it.
Congrats to those in this thread that have purchased an '07. |

07 215cc
Hey everyone. New to site. Took delivery of my 2007 215cc in late oct.06. It's powered by a Honda 150 4stroke. I've only got 17 hours on it so far, mostly striper fishing in O.C. Md. The only problem I encounterd was with the bildge pump, (turned out it was wired wrong from the factory), other than that I am extremly pleased with the boat. Also discovered a small problem with the live well lid, (it hits the swivel seats and won't open all the way). Just put it away for the season and I'm now looking for someone to bottom paint it for me in the spring. It will live in a wet slip in O.C. in brackish back water. If anyone knows a good place to have it painted properly that's between York Pa. and Ocean City Md. I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks: waiting for spring.

Hi FishOCD,
I'm located in OC too and wanted to let you know that you have a good dealer, RT. 13 Boat Sales, located just over the MD/DE line on Rt. 113. They should be able to do the bottom paint for you |
