outriggers

I want to put outriggers on my '04 210 with factory T-top. Does anyone know of outrigger mounts that clamp onto the 1" rail on the T-top? I'm looking for something similar to the clamp on rod holders I put on my bow rail. I'm trying to avoid flush mounts like the factory rod holders. Any ideas gratefully considered.

Rick

What you are looking for

Here is what I made with help from a local fabricator. If you will look on the TTOP you will see a bar that attaches to the top that sticks out from under each side like horns. This is my outrigger / rod holder. These picks are upside down and make the clamp mount easy to see.

Tums, My apologies I saw the photos in the gallery and thought I was doing you a favor by turning them right side up.

Sorry about that!

I put on Taco Sport Slam Kit outriggers last year and work well. Great no welding option. Kit comes with two 15' Sport Slam poles either silver or black/gold, two Sport Slam mounts, two thick aluminum mounting plates with c-clamps and ss bolts. An assortment of rubber gaskets to fit differnet sizes of tubing so no metal to metal clamping of the plates to T-top. Lastly, a basic outrigger rigging kit. You will have to cut the plates to length and put 4 holes each for the attachment of your mount on top of the T-top. Takes about and hour at most, easy work. Shop around, Boater's World cataloug was cheapest last year, online matched it and got free shipping and no tax.

Tuna, Here are the picks of the big grouper Dave caught on that trip.

If I remember right the fillets off of that fish weighted 18#. It came from natural bottom in just over 50' of water South of Cape San Blas, Fl..

Here is some of that days other catch.
