On most 210/215 boats that we have sold, we have put a 21p prop. The diameter is set by the prop manufacturer and not normally a concern.

Prop Selection

I have been experminting with several props on my 210cc with a 200hp yamaha, and so far I have found that the yamaha off shore 19in pitch has worked best. I am still having a small bit of cavitation in tight turns, but the prop is at the prop shop having a little more cup added to it.

yamaha states that triumph sent them the recommedations for the prop

a propulse 9902 4 blade composite prop will allow you to adjust from 15" which will overrev the rpms to 21" which will give you the best cruising setting. the adjustable aspect allows you to get as close to wot w/o overrunning the rpm.
on my 210cc with 140 4s johnson i run 17 " in the ocean when it is blowing and the inlet is nasty and i need all the rpms i can get to punch through the waves and 20 when i run inshore or protected waters to get the most gph in fuel economy. i keep 2 spare replacement blades and the whole system is under $200.

210 prop selection

Join the confusion, my 2003 210cc came with a factory 17pitch yamaha prop. I found that it was too high in the rpms, and had noticed that the blade area was small. I located a 20 pitch sst blade and found that the rpm range was getting close, but I was still fighting cavitation. I was getting ready to buy a 4 blade sst 18 pitch prop, when I came across a used 19pitch yamaha off shore prop, also the off shore prop was larger in diameter. This prop seamed to fit my needs.
The cavitation problem is very evident when making tight turns towing a tube (have to keep the family happy). As far as a composite prop, I have been lead to believe that the blades do flex a little with the higher hp motors.
