I have put a bow mount trolling motor on a 215 and kept the rail. The system works great. I followed much of jergofish's advice with a couple of changes. see this thread.

2004 210 OWNER here as well, have the 150 honda on it and cant ask for anything more. Well matbe bigger fish boxes as mine always seem to fill up with fish

I would not think twice about pulling the trigger again!
