Bow Dodgers

We're planning on buying a Bow Dodger and a bow filler cushion in order to camp out on our boat in remote creeks and bays. Like this one:

Has anybody else tried this? How many people have the Triumph bow dodger, and how easy is it to deploy and fold down?

Thanks, Nofences, it looks nice. How much was it, and how did you find a place that would make it competently? I was planning on buying the factory one, but if I go custom like you did might can get one that will stretch all the way to the console.

I found one who built sailboat dodgers. It was cheaper than the factory and better quality according to the dealer. If I remember right, I paid $400.00 for it 18 mos. ago. I had it and a t-top enclosure built at the same time. The dodger is nice, but the enclosure was the best money I have spent on the boat !

There is an other triumph owner I met who had a custom built enclosure which attaches to the t-top and it goes over the bow rails. It has a door on each side of the t-top. Thhat's my next investment for staying the night at the islands. It rolls up and goes in a stuff bag which attaches to the top. It make the whole front of the boat private and you can stand under the part closest to the console. Yuo might want to look into one of those ?

Good luck

No Fences,

If anyone finds someone on the East Coast to custom make one, I am also interested. Would like both myself.

Dodger

I can't help you on the east coast, but if you need anything on the west coast let me know. I would think any canvas shop who works on canvas for snail(sail) boats could fabricate a dodger .
