if i recall correctly , one of our guys was able to cut the bow rail and had rigged it so it would slide back in place once the trolling motor was stowed away---just cant remember who it was ,but there were photos i'm sure .suggest you look thru all the 210cc photos section and see if you spot it

I have a cavitation plate mounted minkota on mine and I love it. It's a dual battery system and on high I can troll at 2.5 knots. I also use it manuvering around the docks and close quarters, really raises eyebrows my boat moving with no noise, lol. I started using it in saltwater two years ago and it is rusting. Freshwater model that came with my boat. I have been checking out a saltwater model at Basspro though, maybe father's day! Jerry

Thanks, I remember reading that post somewhere. I couldn't find anything in the photo gallery about it. I am trying to avoid altering or removing the bow rail if possible.

I just took delivery last week end of an 07 195 CC with 150 Honda and Minn Kota 160 lbs thrust trolling motor mounted to the cavitation plate. Trolling works great. On plane, the water seems to hit the trolling motor and splashes up onto the main motor. I have not experimented much with trim and measurement yet. May have to install some risers on the Minn Kota to raise it higher out of the water when on plane but need to measure distance under the water while trolling to make sure I would still be at least 8 inches below the waterline.

I'll respond back when I've had more time to investigate.
