however in following seas I have had good results just working the throttle like Piledriver suggests and constantly paying attention. I came back to port in some nasty conditions off Gloucester last season and always managed. sometimes I enjoy the following seas, its kind of like surfing, but like I said always pay attention and keep hand on the throttle!!

I know there are numerous discussion about water in the inner hull but i was under the impression that Triumph cured this problem and didn't think a 2006 or newer boat had any of these issues. Am I wrong in thinking this??
The boat sat outside for about a year before I towed her off the lot and she now has a cover to keep rain water out.

Thanks!!!

With the design of our boats there is always a chance of water getting in the inner hull. In the bilge area you will find two plugs on each side (just like a transom plug) that you can open and see if any water comes out, which I do doubt will occur on a 2006. The water most of us are talking about is in the transom area. There are two plates that cover the transom wells. Each of these can hold about an estimated 5-10 gallons of water which equates to 70 to 140 extra pounds on the rear of the boat. This can significantly change the handling of the boat. If you search you will see many of us have made modifications so that we can check and remove this water without removing the plate. See "My Transom Well Modification". I think this will help answer your question.
