Newbie!

Hello all,
I've been checking out the site and you've got a great thing here. I recently became interested in the Triumph 210. I was wondering if you all could shed some light on any differences there might be between the '04 and '05. My local dealer has a leftover and they're giving me a pretty good price on that one. I called an internet dealer today and they gave me a price just slightly higher for an '05 outfitted just the way I want it. I haven
't ridden one of these yet but have plans to as soon as the weather allows. Any info you all could share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't answer the 04 vs. 05 question, but having a dealer close to where you boat is certainly important.

And welcome to the site. Keep us updated!

03,04,05 use the same hull. The big change though its not that big is that they added back rests to the rear seats and changed some colors. You can get seat cushions made for any of the other 210cc. We have a 03 210cc, yet I say we have an 05 because we have all the mods that the 05s have. Look under the owners galleries and check my rear seat mod out. I think triumph took my idea and used it for the 2005s.

ALL HULLS ARE THE SAME AND THE DIFFERANCES BETWEEN THE MODEL YEARS ARE COLOR OF TRIM DECALS AND A COUPLE OF OWNER INSPIRED IMPROVEMENTS.
IF YOU CAN GEY AN 04 RIGGED THE WAY YOU WANT AND SAVE $$$$ - GO FOR IT.
BTY I TOOK AN 01 AND PUT A NEW '04 JOHNSON 140 ON IT -SAVED 10 GRAND ON THE DIFF IN A NEW BOAT AND THINK MY 01 IS GREAT

Thank you all for the replies,
I'm going to look at that leftover this weekend and they told me that I can ride one on April 1st weather permitting. I would much rather buy from a local marina if all else is equal. I appreciate any input you current owners can give me, I've been around enough salesmen to know that they are programmed to tell you what you want to hear. I feel that those who own and run these boats are the ones who truly know all of the ins and outs of them. Thanks again, and who knows maybe I'll be joining you all at one of your rendevous in the future. That Falmouth jaunt sounds like a lot of fun, I used to live on the Vineyard and still consider that area my true home and New Jersey my exile. Anyway every day above ground is a good day right?

Hi Ken,
These boats are petty tough. I say go for it. read some of the posts on this site, you can see a few minor issues that people have, mainly drainage issues from the storage boxes. but overall a good fishing vessel and or family fun boat. As long as you don't want a shiny glass boat, and enjoy not having to wax all the time, you will enjoy.

Capttom,
The dealer down here in central NJ is Statewide Marine in Mantaloking. They are the dealer that had the leftover and where I will do my test ride. I'll more than likely buy from them since they are so close and they were rather nice as well. Hope that helps.
