215 Livewell Gasket
Does anyone know where I can get some material to place around my livewell lid? I always have a problem when it fills that the water bounces around and splashed out the lid when I'm underway.

Thanks guys, I do have a regulator and an overflow but where I run into my issue is underway. It is then that it splashed out between the lid and the small lip. That is why I am thinking about adding a gasket.

Dj, I have the same issue when running in chop. It does not bother me too much during the summer as the water is fricken 85 degrees here, but come fall and early spring it is a bit chilly on the legs. I will be interested in what you come up with.

I have used refrigerator door replacement seal made by Frost King to seal out water and cushion doors and hatches on my boats. It is white with self sticking back side. The seal side has three ridges on it. It would be a little wide for the baitwell lid but you could cut it with scissors or a knife. Cheap and effective for the job you are looking at.
I got mine at the local True Value Hardware store. Codfish |
