I found that the parts we ordered were the wrong size. If anyone else is thinking of this, please wiat till I get the correct size and post it before proceeding. Sorry, but I goofed.

OK - we finally solved OUR problem. This might not be a solution for others, but it was mine.

Today we filled up our splashwells with water and there were NO leaks. Tyhe water stayed in the splashwells.

If you like this solution, it should cost you less than $20.00 plus shipping.

Contact Merritt Marine ( a site sponsor) or if they can't help, get back to me.

I use size 9 1/2 plugs in the forward part of the splashwell and size 7 in the stern openings.

After over 30 minutes, water did not leak out in either direction.

I will use this as a back up if my duckbilled scuppers fail. I tried this fix and have not been on the water since. Boat has been in shop for a kinked cable.
