Skiing behind a 210

My family is interested in tubbing and wake boarding but I can't find a ski pylon that works. Is the T-top strong enough to support a skier? Or is there a pylon out there that can be mounted? I don't want something that's permanent because I mostly fish.
Thank for any ideas!!

use the transom tie downs, if you use the search feature there was a post about a month or two ago, that has a link for a bridled ski rope that will attach to each side and even the pull.

PileDriver, I think the link you had in mind is below.

Water Skiing

In addition, Boaters World has an “On The Edge Steel Cable And Pully Harness”, Mfr # PT5, Our Stock # 478320831 for a cost of $17.99

A 9' adjustable cable tow harness for that extra length, features a pulley for efficient skier towing, 5/16" diameter cable with snap hooks that attach quickly

That is what we use, not very expensive, floats so stays away from the prop, easy on and off.

Thanks for your help.
The one problem I've had with the transom tie down, if your triing to wakeboard, the rope is too low and it's really hard to get someone up. Skiing and tubbing works fine. Have you had any experience with wakeboarding?

If a bridle can be attached to the transom tiedown eyelets, then there's no reason you can't attach a bridle to the two transom cleats and pull a wakeboarder from gunwhale height. There's no concern about load capacity, since that's how you'd tow another boat.

I pulled a skier off the back of my 215 from the portside tiedown eyelet, and was already thinking of doing the cleat bridle next time.

We use the towing harness that OspreyVic mentions below and it works GREAT for pulling a big tube with both of my kids (combined weight around lbs).

I also have pulled my son on his new wake skate (not a wake board) he weighs lbs and we only get up to 18-20 mph.

FYI; if you don't already know, a wake skate is just a board without any harnesses or boots to deal with. My son is a regular skateboarder and this wake skate was just as easy or easier to get up on for him and I would think the same for 1st timers (kids). But you won't see me on it or the tube for that matter.

I love it and the internal pulley in the red float keeps the rope centered and the red float moves properly when making turns.

$17.99 cant beat it!
