Bait tank

Love my triumph, had since 04' has helped me kill almost all of the west coast pelagic species, but there's a few things I would change about the boat and I don't know if they did on the new models. My main thing is the bait tank. I wish it was a solid oval shape with the water entering from the top! the shape seems do beat up a lot of bait and that's a problem out here, but other than that, Looks like most of the other problems have been worked out on the newer models.

Please visit the threat listed below. It might help.

07' 215 CC Bait Well

We drilled holes in the top pieces so fresh water would spray into the tank from above or on top of the water. Something like this may not fully solve your problem, but it might be a start. We purchased all the parts at Home Depot, so the cost is very low.

Hope this helps.

bait tank

ect1981: DITTO on OspreyVic's response I took his advise sometime ago and visited my local Home Depot (or Lowes if you prefer) added a stand pipe to allow the water enter from the top,in fact I purchased enough PVC to cut 2 stand pipes one I drilled holes in, the other was just plain pipe...The one with the holes worked better.I just have to remove the stand pipe or pull the plug to drain the tank..I have a 01 logic 210cc so mine is one of the first model..they have made improvements since then. Lets us know how it works..
