Clean and Buff my 210

Is there any good way to clean and buff my 210? I've had it for several years now and it has acquired some scratches and sun fading and would like to "buff" out the blemishes. Any ideas out there?

Thanks,
Mdnightrdr

mdnightrdr, I moved your post here. Unfortunately, I do not think anyone would have seen it where you placed it.

May I please suggest that you use the "Search" feature at the top of the page. It really does work and there have been many posts on keeping our boats clean and looking good.

Hope to see you on the water in that Venice is our normal launch site.

From my experience I recommend a good washing with a power washer, some soft scrub w/ bleach, and if needed Mr Clean Magic Erasers. Use fine grit sandpaper for the scratches and bring the shine back with an electric buffer. Be sure to go slow and allow to heat from the wool pad to bring back the sheen. I know there is no need to wax a Triumph, but in a case like this Eagle One makes a great spray on/wipe off wax that works excellent on our boats. Worked great on my boat. Just be sure to take your time with it. Hope to see some pics!

my 210 always seemed to have a brownish haze like a stain. power washing did nothing for it. I used the mr clean magic erasers the other day and wow what a diff. you could see the brown leaving. made it nice and white again. Only down side is if I have to do the whole boat it will take a few of them.

i bought a dealer demo that had been sanded down to keep the sun from reflecting so brightly back on our eyes. have no intention of shining it back out until i put a give away sign on it----just must be getting used to being a 1/4 bubble out of plumb regarding these boats i guess!!!!

Soft scrub with a car buffer also makes quick work of rub marks. Just go slow and not too much pressure.

Vinegar works well for water spots.
