prop advice for Suzuki four stroke 140

just purchased 2004 21 foot CC with 2003 four stroke Suzuki 140, has aluminum prop and would like to purchase stainless steel. Would like to get one to increase speed a bit, boat runs around 23-24 mph at 4,000 rpm. Package has exceeded expectations and runs great in Tampa Bay and Gulf. Had Boston Whaler before and it was a great boat, but the Triumph runs better in the water and for the price is the best boat. I purchased it two hours after it hit boattrader and the dealer had ninety calls on it, one was an email from all the way from the San Juan Island in Washington, (I bought it in Florida). Thanks for your help

Phack,

I have the same boat and motor. Sounds like you probably have a 19P prop because mine came with that prop and ran the same speed at that RPM with a 19P. I think you will find that the motor will not reach full WOT RPMs if you go to a 21P. If you do have a 19, that is likely your best speed. That motor just does not have the HP to turn a steeper pitch.

I now run a 17P since WOT is not used much on the West coast.
