215 CC Macerator Pump Kit?

I was curious if anyone has pictures or a general cost to have the macerator pump installed? My fishboxes are currently a waste of space in simple terms because I do not want the scales, bait and chunks clogging up my bilge. Any recommendations on the pump or is it not a wise addition. Thanks in advance

After having the trouble your talking about, my bilge started to smell more like fish than gas. I now use the cooler as a fish box and the fish box as a cooler. Something I never thought of when getting the boat. All the drains seem to be just a little to high off the floor when they should be in the floor and not the side wall.

unfortunately they cant be in the floor as the bottom of the floor boxes is the outside hull and is about 1/4 inch thick. If they tried I think they could at least have made them flush with the bottom on the side and larger. That would have helped

Just get the fish box liners. They are pretty rugged and keep alot of the junk out of the bilge area. Just don't forget to empty and wash them out. P-U !
Hope this helps.

I do agree the fish boxes and macerator pump thing can be a frustration. This year I have been carrying a fish bag or kill bag as some people know them. We have had a couple trips where the boat has been way too plugged with fish for just the bag, but it those cases we ice them down in holds. One thing that has worked really well for me is putting a bed of ice down first in the holds before the fish go to make a buffer between the drain and the fish. Any misc. pieces that come off then tend to be easier to get out before into the bilge.
