Power knob

I broke down and just recently installed a ball bearing power knob on the wheel, and let me say how nice it is maneuvering the boat now, especially when the wheel is cold and wet. I really could'nt believe what a differance this little modification has accomplished!

Yesterday was the first time I have been able to get up to the boat. I was incovering and getting it cleaned up and runnig..It actually started. I pulled the batterys to charge them and went out a bought a pro mariner tournament 100. It charged them real nice, so I amd going to install in the boat so all i have to do is plug the boat in. I think I may have a bildge pump prob though. I forgot to see if it runs but in clearing water and ice from the bildge I noticed a buldge on the top of the pump and dont recall it being there before. couple weeks and I may be on Erie.

mtblife,
West Marine. They are Edson turning knobs, and they offer 2 differant stye's...A sportsman model and a pro-model. The sportsman is about half the price of the pro-model.

Edson

Here is a pic of my Edson. Worth the money? Not really, but it is the ultimate in steering attachments if you have hydrolic steering...
This pic is a little cluttered. You'll have to zoom in to find it. Along with the knob, I have my extra rod holders, cutting board and downrigger installed...
